About the Position:
As an Occupational Therapist at In One Healthcare, your responsibilities will include:
- Develop customised treatment plans based on the client presentations, diagnosis and their goals.
- Educate patients, carers and families about child’s development, fine and gross motor skills, self-care interventions and strategies for sensory regulation.
- Monitor patients' progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and provide ongoing care to ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, assessment results, treatment plans, and progress notes, in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare standards and regulations.
Requirements:
In order to establish your career within this position, you will require the following attributes and attitude:
- Minimum of Bachelor of Occupational Therapy
- Current registration as an Occupational Therapist with Australian Health Practitioners Registration Agency (AHPRA)
- Minimum 1 year experience as an Occupational Therapist
- Knowledge of adult and geriatric disability issues
- The ability to obtain an NDIS Workers Screening check, National Police Clearance, and Working with Children Check.
- Experience working with children is highly desirable, and passion for positively impacting children's lives through therapy. (applicable for Paediatric Occupational Therapist)
- Excellent computer and interpersonal skills
- A valid driver's license.
- A current First Aid and CPR Training
