We are searching for an Occupational Therapist to support our clients. Ideally the right candidate will be looking to develop and grow into the role, and is currently, or displays potential to advance into a team leader position.
Focusing on the complex movement needs of older adults, your key responsibilities will include:
- Community based work with a strong focus on enhancing the independence of our clients.
- Liaise with families/care providers by providing ongoing support, counselling and education.
- Plan and carry out required services to clients following guidelines for assessment and treatment required.
- Maintain a close liaison with other community resources to ensure the ongoing care.
- Prepare reports as required.
- Educate carers and family members.
- Work to achieve and have a positive impact on all patients health.
- Falls prevention strength and training.
- Goal setting activities, as well as resolution planning.
- Educate carers and family members.
- Work to achieve a positive impact on all clients health and wellbeing goals.
What we need in our OT's:
- Relevant tertiary qualification and current registration with AHPRA.
- Strong emotional intelligence i.e. being caring, compassionate and patient.
- Current National Police Check.
- Full working rights.
