About the Role:

An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as an Occupational Therapist within the Forensic Mental Health Service.

The Occupational Therapist is responsible to the Nursing Director of the Forensic Mental Health Service Inpatient units for the provision of assessment and treatment services for consumers of NALHN which aims to optimise health outcomes. As an Occupational Therapist you will work with clients with serious mental illness using a range of appropriate Occupational Therapy assessments and treatment approaches, for the planning, implementation and evaluation of both individualised and group programs.

Working in conjunction with other clinicians and health professionals, the Occupational Therapist optimises patient functional and health outcomes in this specialty area.
