Occupational Therapist: Fulltime (Or Minimum 3 Days)

As a member of Muscular Dystrophy Queensland's specialist, multi-disciplinary allied health team you'll work with children and adults living with muscle wasting conditions and develop lasting relationships as part of the “care team” your clients rely upon to maintain their independence and live the lives they choose. 

We're interested in supporting you to progress your skills as an allied health professional and offer mentoring, skills building workshops and other professional development opportunities. You will be a valued employee, contributing to our friendly and supportive workplace.

Ideally this position is a full-time, permanent role. However, we would also consider applications from suitable candidates wanting to work part-time (min 6 days per fortnight). 

You'll enjoy a varied role, with no two days the same at MDQ. You're able to structure your day with a mix of centre-based appointments and visits to client's homes and community facilities, as well as quiet space for report writing. Our service is focused on the South East Corner and can involve some outreach travel within Queensland, if that interests you. 

You will be working within an allied health team (physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and allied health assistants) and alongside NDIS support coordinators and plan managers, and charitable program coordinators.

• You hold a recognised degree in Occupational Therapy
• You're currently registered with AHPRA
• You're interested in building long-term relationships and celebrating milestones with your clients.
