The successful candidate will be responsible for utilising Agile Software Development Methodology to support all ongoing Java and Adobe Smart Form development activities. They will also undertake and conduct a Management Integration Coordination (MIC) function in relation to the enterprise application support.ResponsibilitiesThe service provider will be required to:
- Utilise Agile Software Development Methodology to support all ongoing Java and Adobe Smart Form development activities.
- Conduct up to twenty-four (24) Agile Sprints per contracted year, each consisting of 10 working days, addressing defect corrections and capability enhancements related to Adobe Smart Form.
- Provide ongoing support, sustainment, and enhancement of the automated regression testing capability to deliver efficiencies and reduce the risk of defects being released into production.
- Manage the delivery and management of the release process from development environments through to the Defence Production Environment, including documenting processes where necessary.
- Provision and manage the Virtual Development Environment and required software, including integration methods into the Defence-hosted testing environments.
- Maintain the database and communicate changes to all relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate release and sprint planning meetings.
- Verify readiness of a release for deploying to production.
- Coordinate issue management through categorisation and classification.
- Coordinate and track progress of raised incidents, issues, and events.
- Coordinate and engage third parties to support issues and/or enhancements, including working closely with Defence Digital Group and Joint Capability Group, who manage the secure integrated information and communications technology environment within Defence.
