About the Position
We are looking to welcome an Occupational Therapist to deliver informed interventions, assessments, and parent training to support families and children
- Full time permanent position.
- Level 6 under the SCHCADS Award. Salary range is $106,390 to $111,093 + Super.
- Sunshine Coast – Nambour based position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support families and children with delays or difficulties in self-care, motor skills, play skills and/or emotional and sensory regulation.
- Work collaboratively to ensure parenting strategies and child behaviour support is in line with appropriate child development and parenting capacity.
- Identify and work toward client goals and achieve successful outcomes for children who have experienced complex trauma.
- Complete discipline specific assessments contribute to therapeutic plans, in collaboration with the integrated therapy team.

About You
- Tertiary qualification in Speech Language Pathology.
- Membership with Speech Pathology Australia and hold Certified Practising Speech Pathology (CPSP) status.
- At least two years’ experience working with children, young people and their families who have been impacted by trauma or experienced abuse and neglect, or at least two years’ experience working in similar roles.
- Experience providing individual and group therapy to children, young people, and their families.
Other Requirements
- Eligibility for a Working with Children Check or professional exemption.
- Current driver’s licence.
- Legally able work in Australia (proof of eligibility will be requested).
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved medical exemption.
