• Individualised New Graduate training program or
• Assistance with AHPRA registration for returing to work or overseas applicants

• Ongoing fortnightly supervision with our experienced OT's and generous CPD budget
• Above award wage hourly rate or per client rate
• $1000 sign on bonus ($500 paid on first day and $500 at 6 month review)

Work within a supportive team with your supervisor being onsite, as you develop or refine your OT career. You will be supported by Tahnee through your onboarding and training and will see 4 clients per day then build to 6.

Tahnee can also provide supervision to meet and reach your AHPRA registration requirements for therapists returning to the workforce or therapists who graduated overseas.

• Full time- Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday
• Part time- you select your days
• Casual/Contract positions- you select your days/hours (min of 3 hours)
• Saturday positions- weekly or fortnightly
• Clinic or mobile school visit roles
• Options to have school holidays off

Hopalong is a long established business, providing occupational therapy services to the St George and Inner West community for the past 28 years, with 17 years with the current senior OT and director, Tahnee. 

Hopalong only employs OT's so we are dedicated to developing your OT skills. We currently have a bespoke team 4 experienced, positive and supportive Occupational Therapists. We have 4 OTA's to assist you in your administration and additional sessions for your clients as well as Suzie our Office Manager/Angel.

We specialise in paediatrics and have over 40 years combined experience in paediatrics across the team. We hold quarterly team training nights, wellbeing lunches and socials which have included restaurant dinners, escape rooms, cruises, bowling and mini golf.

All therapists commence on our Onboarding Program with KPI's set at an achievable 4 clients per day for the first 3 months. Once confident, KPI's then increase to our maximum of 6 clients per day. You define your own calender which could be:

• Two morning clients, school visit, lunch, CPD time, three afternoon clients
• Three morning clients, assessment, report writing time, lunch, two afternoon clients
• Three morning clients, lunch, reports, supervision, three afternoon clients
• Three school visit clients, lunch, reports, two afternoon clients

You will have:

• A degree in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA registration
• A cleared WWCC
• Some experience working with children with a variety of diagnoses such as ASD, DD and/or ADHD
• Your own car for home and school visits
• A passion for helping children and their families and a keen interest to develop your clinical skills
• Be proactive for your clients and the team and show strong initiative
• A commitment to develop your skills for assessment and intervention
• Exceptional communication skills to your clients, parents, manager and the team
• Commitment to the role for a minimum of 1 year
