Provlin Health is currently seeking Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists (Graduates encouraged to apply) and experienced NDIS registered Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners (must be registered with NDIS to submit behavioural support plans on PRODA) for the our Southport Clinic based on the Gold Coast.

ABOUT THE ROLE
- Working within the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Commission requirements including reporting to the NDIS Commission as required.
- Develop and implement Behaviour Support services in alignment with the NDIS safeguards framework, prioritising positive behaviour change and minimising restrictive practices.
- Develop individualised plans that reflect participants' goals, passions, and strengths, fostering engagement in meaningful activities and promoting overall quality of life.
- Utilising assessment and intervention skills to support participants in achieving their goals and maximising NDIS funding.
- Building meaningful relationships with the participants and their supports (family, carers, friends).
- Developing and implementing Behaviour Support Plans with function-based strategies, utilising positive Behaviour Support framework
- Conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA).
- Collaborating within interdisciplinary teams to address complex behavioural challenges.
- Fulfil administrative requirements, including record keeping, billing, and invoicing.
- Provide regular feedback to stakeholders regarding progress (participant, career/ nominee, LACs, support coordinators, NDIA staff or others).
- Develop relationships with stakeholders to strengthen partnerships and potential work.
- Advocating for the rights and needs of the participant where appropriate, promoting inclusion and access to community.
- Remaining informed on contemporary best practice approaches and latest developments in the field through continuous professional development and supervision.
- Working within a budget and meeting billable hours to ensure sustainability of the service.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors or Masters degree
- Registration with APHRA
- Registration with the NDIS Quality & Safeguarding Commission as Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner.
- Experience delivering services under the NDIS, coupled with a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of the NDIS framework, funding, services, support categories, RRP processes, NDIS systems, and the disability sector.
- Current NDIS Screening and Working with Children Checks and an NDIS Practitioner ID.
DESIRABLE CRITERIA
It is highly desirable if you also have:
- BCBA or Behaviour Technician registration
- Experience working in a clinical setting with individuals who have a disability.
