We are currently seeking a talented and highly motivated individual to join our clinical team in Wollongong as an Occupational Therapist.

About this Role:
As an Occupational Therapist at DFS, you will have the opportunity to join a passionate and diverse multidisciplinary team within an NDIS registered provider that strives to deliver positive outcomes through a strengths-based approach. Your colleagues will include practitioners from diverse fields such as psychology, social work, behaviour support, speech pathology, and neurofeedback training. Successful applicants will be fully supported by our multidisciplinary team to receive any required training, supervision, and mentoring that may be needed to enhance the applicant’s professional development and allow them to excel in their areas of interest and expertise.
Within this role, you will have the opportunity to support clients and NDIS participants from a wide variety of backgrounds, ages, cultures, communities, and abilities to enable meaningful changes to their lives. In addition to our clinic in Wollongong, you will be able to work with individuals across a diverse range of settings within the Illawarra region, including at homes, schools, and other local community spaces.

Requirements:
- Relevant certification in occupational therapy
- Current and unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Ability to tailor therapies based on the individual needs of clients
- Willing to participate in ongoing program development
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional communication and report writing skills
- Have a passion for supporting clients from all cultures and backgrounds

- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- NDIS Worker’s Check (NDISWC)
- Police Check
