Due to company growth, our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join their team.
Location:
- Wollongong CBD
- Monday-Friday
- 9am-5pm
- Providing high quality services to clients referred to the organisation from relevant networks.
- Developing and maintaining care plans aligned with individual goals.
- Delivering Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention to participants, including both adults and children, to support them to maintain or improve their functional ability and independence.
- Participating in ongoing professional development activities.
- Providing high quality communication to clients, their families, primary carers, health professionals and other providers.
- Prescribing equipment and home modifications, where deemed appropriate.
- Delivering group programs to support participants to maintain or improve self-management of their functional abilities.
- Maintaining accurate documentation including reports and clinical notes.
- Managing enquiries from participants and the NDIA.
- A Bachelor of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
- Be registered under the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- A profound client service focus, with a commitment to ongoing continuous improvement and professional development.
- Experience in delivering Occupational Therapy services to people with diverse needs and goals.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
