About the Role
Our Allied Health team provides care to both inpatients, outpatients, and day patients. The team consists of highly skilled Allied Health professionals including Occupational Therapists, physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, psychologists, dieticians, speech pathologists, and social workers.
In this role, you will see a broad range of clinical caseloads across the hospital and will operate across various areas which may include adult inpatients in the acute wards, rehabilitation, and day rehabilitation.
About You
This position requires someone with flexibility and the ability work in a fast-paced environment. To succeed in this role, you will bring a positive team orientated focus and have a passion for client care. You will have exceptional communication skills and be committed to providing a high standard of customer-focused service.
Essential Criteria:
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy.
- Current and unconditional registration with AHPRA.
- Acute hospital experience.
- Highly developed assessment and intervention skills.
- Proven ability to independently manage a patient caseload.
- Demonstrated excellent organisational skills and effective communication skills with a multi-disciplinary team.
- Demonstrated commitment and contribution to quality improvement tasks.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in inpatient rehabilitation.
- Oedema management skills and experience.
- Lymphoedema skills and experience.
