Job description

The ORS Occupational Therapy team is expanding and we are seeking our next clinician to join the team! You will be joining a national team of 70+ Occupational Therapists in our NDIS division performing clinical services to participants aged 0-65 with various diagnoses and disability types.
You will get to work with an amazing group of clients over a period of months or even years, and you will play an integral part in their personal growth and development. You will form a close bond with your clients and get to celebrate their achievements with them every step of the way.
You will have access to administration and IT support, high quality and validated Occupational Therapy assessment tools, online resource subscriptions, internal and external professional development opportunities, the opportunity for clinical specialisation as well as career progression.
Work Life Balance
The ORS executive team really believes in the benefits of a healthy work life balance. Many of us have families and lead busy lives outside of work so we know how important it is for our staff to maintain a balanced lifestyle. For this reason we:

  • Provide the resources for our staff to be able to work from home
  • Aim to allocate clients close to your home
  • Give you ownership of your own calendar so you can book appointments to suit your schedule
  • Provide suburban office locations with free onsite & local parking
  • Give you the ability to work part time or reduced hours
Learning and Development
At ORS we truly value the clinical and professional development of our staff. That is why we have a team of Learning and Development Managers on staff who all possess 20+ years clinical Occupational Therapy experience, extensive background in university lecturing, and impressive qualifications. You will be able to connect with these experts in one on one and group training sessions, plus have the ability to pick up the phone at any time to ask their advice.
Graduate Programs
If you have recently graduated, or are within your first 12 months of experience, you will be eligible to participate in ORS' six month tailored new graduate program. This includes reduced client hours, an allocated supervisor, weekly mentoring, graduate-specific training and opportunities to network with other new graduates and senior practitioners across Australia. Many of our leaders started with ORS in our Graduate Program!
A few requirements:
  • Current enrolment in a Bachelor or Master of Occupational Therapy or Cert IV accreditation in Allied Health Assistance (Occupational Therapy)
  • Experience working within the NDIS sector (preferred)
  • A car and licence
  • A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or able to acquire one for client facing roles (or willingness to obtain one before commencement)
