The OCM Change Planning Lead is a critical role within the Portfolio Planning & Delivery team and will be responsible for providing effective and consistent engagement, leadership and decision-making on design and delivery across a specific pipeline of projects, supporting the creation of a centre of excellence and ensuring the delivery of strategic outcomes.
They require someone to set up the strategy and framework for the PMO (specifically for the business stream) and to establish the ways of working within the business. Following the establishment of the framework, this role will move into managing the change readiness, maintaining governance and working with the portfolio around correct process.
The OCM Change Planning Lead - Portfolio is accountable for:
- Develop and implement an appropriate change management strategy to facilitate the successful execution of projects and programs within the portfolio.
- Leading the people's side of change. Identifying the impact on people through change impact assessments, readiness assessments, stakeholder analysis, and building a change enablement strategy that improves adoption and minimises resistance.
- Ensuring changes is communicated throughout the business workstreams thorough communication materials, stakeholder training & awareness strategies to drive and reinforce change.
- Assessing organisational impact and readiness for each change initiative on a program/portfolio level.
- Identifying and managing anticipated resistance to change. You’ll define success metrics and use data to inform how we measure and enhance the effectiveness of change initiatives.
- Change assurance on OCM artefacts, planning and ensuring deliverables are executed in accordance with program / project plans to include a line of sight on the design and delivery of training programs to support the adoption of new processes, technologies and behaviours associated with organisational change initiatives.
