Melrose Contracting Pty Ltd is a highly regarded Roofing company with operations in Sydney, Newcastle, South Coast and ACT. We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Office Administrator to join us at our Kings Park office. Roofing Knowledge and/or Experience is advantageous.
You will be an organised, friendly & focused person who can work independently and as part of a team. You will work on Office Administration in a team environment.
Duties:
- Filling and general administrative duties
- Answering Phones
- Data entry of purchase orders into the database
- Prepare, maintain and distribute project documents
- Assist estimators with contacting and liaising with Builders & Customers
- Keeping track of booked-in jobs, and ensuring all deadlines are met
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong verbal and oral communication skills
- Reliable and prompt
- Friendly demeanour
- Can handle a very high-paced environment
- Accurate data entry skills and strong attention to detail
- General computer skills including Microsoft Office (and MS Excel, Word)
- An ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise your work
- Be a self-starter and show initiative
- Work well under pressure. This is a must.
- A willingness to learn and grow and be part of a team
- Positive/"Can do" attitude absolute MUST
Advantageous:
- Previous experience working with a Metal Roofing material supplier
- Previous Experience working with Residential Home Builders
- Have an understanding of roofing/construction work or a willingness to learn
