Mapstaff is excited to announce our main client Steuler KCH Australia is seeking their next administration rock star for their Townsville office. 

About Our Client

Steuler KCH Australia is a corrosion protection company specializing in heat and acid resistant coatings and products.

Steuler complete works within Australia and worldwide predominantly in the mining sector.

About the Position

Steuler are looking for a professional and dedicated part time Office Administrator to facilitate the daily running of the Steuler KCH Townsville Office by providing strong administration skills and support to office management, managing enquiries, placing stock orders, and maintaining records. 

Responsibilities 

  • Act as a first point of contact to meet and greet clients, employees and site visitors
  • Providing administrative support to office managers and team members
  • Handling correspondence including emails and phone calls
  • Handling general office duties such as photocopying, scanning and data entry
  • Maintaining filing systems and organising documents
  • Assistance with project co-ordination 
  • Ordering and managing office and site supplies
  • Preparation of invoices and purchase orders
  • Assistance with travel co-ordination

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Manual Drivers License is preferable

Experience & Knowledge

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an administrative, help desk, technical support role. Mining or construction related is preferable
  • Xero Accounting software experience is preferable
  • JDE or SAPP software experience is preferable
  • Experience in travel itinerary co-ordination and booking is preferable

Essential Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Effective verbal & listening communication skills
  • Attention to detail and able to meet deadlines
  • Computer literacy specializing in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent numeric skills
