Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of a high-tech aged care home with a hotel-style atmosphere? Our client is seeking an experienced Office Manager to join their team. Reporting directly to the General Manager and overseeing one direct report, this role is integral to maintaining efficient operations within the aged care facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a direct report and collaborating with clinical and operational teams
- Managing rostering and scheduling of staff
- Maintaining confidentiality of company, resident, and employee records
- Arranging training sessions and onboarding processes for new employees
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including staff background checks and educational records etc.
- Providing support to the General Manager and Director of Care during the admissions process
- Previous experience in administration, rostering, and office management within the aged care sector
- Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to adapt to the home's changing needs
- Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory standards in aged care
- Experience in onboarding new team members
