We are seeking an Office Manager for an immediate start, short term contract.

Xavier Catholic College is located in Wurrumiyanga, Bathurst Island, 80km north of Darwin. We provide a holistic Catholic education for students in the Year 7 to Year 12. The role of the Office Manager includes the following tasks:
- Provide secretarial support and advice to management personnel
- Day to day supervision of administration staff
- Coordinate schedules, approvals, monitor training records and maintain staff documents
- Preparation and security of budgetary information
- Maintain staff accounts and confidential personal records as per CENT regulations and privacy laws.
- Process staff contracts, payroll superannuation, reimbursements, travel, FOILS and accommodation
- Assist management in organising, planning, implementing and review of projects.
- Maintain and advise on the development and review of organisational policies and operational procedures including job descriptions and workplans
- Support teachers including:
- Access to in-services/PD
- Information relating to state bodies and regulators.
- Technical areas
- Research and source educational material
- Assist with processing student assessment and appraisals.
- Prepare and plan reports for principals, staff and parents.
- Apply conflict resolution skills

Wurrumiyanga, Bathurst Island is readily accessible by air and ferry. Accommodation and utilities are paid, and assistance with relocation is provided. Air fares and costs towards accommodation in Darwin is also included as an extra incentive each term.
