We employ a team of highly skilled professionals to address the entire life-cycle of Geographic Information Systems, from the supply of data, provision of analytical and value-adding services, to assistance with assessments and decision-making structures. We provide an extensive range of products and services including satellite resource management, raw data collection/supply, rapid satellite imagery acquisition, spatial analysis, and the production of high-level spatial visualisations and decision support tools.
The position
Geospatial Intelligence Pty Ltd is delighted to seek applications for an experienced Office Manager to join our team. We are looking for someone who will be able to quickly understand and absorb new concepts and acquire skills on the job in order to deliver exceptional customer service.
This is a full-time position. Part-time and flexible working hours e.g. Monday to Thursday 9am to 3pm are available for the right candidate.
Duties and Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the successful operation of the office plus a variety of administrative projects. You will also provide executive support to the Chief Executive Officer and will be liaising with management on a regular basis. Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking general administrative duties including filing and answering the telephone
- Diary management including arranging meetings and preparing agendas, attendance at meetings and taking minutes as required
- Managing and maintaining all databases, mailing lists and filing systems
- Maintaining and administering office policies and procedures
- Arranging travel and accommodation for management and employees
- Maintaining office supplies and stationery
- Assist with the management of contracts and agreements
- Assist with digital marketing including posting, publishing and editing social media content
- Provide Business Development support
- Other administration duties as required to ensure the office runs efficiently and effectively
Desired Skills:
To be successful for this position you will ideally have previous experience with a similar role. You will also have:
- Secretarial experience
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- High level of attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Proficiency with the MS Office Suite
- Hands on experience with CRM systems
- Excellent phone manner and communications skills
- Ability to co-ordinate others and manage deadlines
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience with a similar role
- Sales support experience desirable
- A Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearances
