About Us:
The Mental Health Community Coalition ACT (MHCC ACT for short) is the peak body of community-delivered mental health services in Canberra. Our member organisations include soup kitchens, youth support organisations, perinatal wellbeing services, housing services, and other not-for-profit organisations that support our community.
Our team is friendly, dedicated, down to earth and we are committed to our members. Organisationally, our role is one of advocacy, support, and education and we enjoy delivering a range of services and programs to support our members, and the wider community.
We need an expert coordinator/organiser to help us with daily operations, so we’re seeking an Office Manager/Personal Assistant to join the team.
About the Opportunity:
As the Office Manager/Personal Assistant, you’ll have a dual role comprising management of office operations, plus PA support to the CEO (currently on parental leave, returning mid-year).
Day to day you will manage inboxes, respond to emails, solve problems, and direct enquiries to the best person. You will track payments, organise meetings, manage calendars, oversee general office administration, and proactively support the team to help them best support members.
Additionally, there are operational projects to sink your teeth into, and there’ll be scope to streamline and improve systems and efficiencies, so ideally you have bags of common sense, and a passion for problem solving!
This is a part time role (3-4 days per week) and we are flexible around work hours, so it could be ideal if you're a return-to-work parent.
About You:
Friendly, articulate, and proactive, you have a great eye for detail. Some customer service experience would be great, and you’re team oriented, and happy to roll up your sleeves to get the job done. You have a ‘can do’ attitude and enjoy contributing to the team.
Mature-minded, you’re reliable and trustworthy, and understand the importance of confidentiality. Good computer skills would be helpful, and you’re good at improving systems and processes.
Based in the city, we operate to a hybrid model and are flexible to employees’ needs. We also benefit from a monthly Wellbeing Day, a fabulous perk!
If this sounds of interest, please apply online via SEEK and we will get back to you.
