Role Overview
This opportunity is for a fixed period through to March 2025, with the possibility of extension.
To provide high quality customer service both internal and external as an integral part of the flood recovery program provided by the organisation.
To provide accurate and efficient administrative and project support to the organisation and assist with the development and implementation of Project Planning activities. This will include contributing to internal and external engagement processes.
Essential Knowledge & Skills:
- Demonstrated experience in providing administrative, planning and project support, including a strong understanding of the workflow / processes associated with the delivery of projects, including engagement of consultants, procurement, and stakeholder engagement.
- Certificate 3 in Business Administration or equivalent qualifications or experience.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and organise workloads to meet deadlines associated with supporting the delivery of an endorsed program of work.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, as well as the skill to work autonomously as required.
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills to facilitate effective information sharing, community engagement processes and associated written documentation.
- Sound understanding of records management requirements and information systems.
- Queensland ‘C’ Class driver’s licence that is current and maintained
Essential Requirements:
- Provide timely and accurate administration and project support functions to meet the business needs of the Finance Team.
- Contribute to the daily operations of the team, through the provision of effective, efficient and responsive customer service.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers through effective stakeholder engagement support.
- Assist in analysis and reconciliation of grant funded project costings and prepare journals were necessary to reconcile council’s financial information.
- Process documentation, correspondence and reports associated with engagement processes for Construction projects, planning and business as usual activities.
