Your role as an Officer Security will involve:

• Oversee security management systems including Access Control, CCTV Surveillance, and Intruder Detection, ensuring robust protection of assets and infrastructure
• Control and facilitate the movement of personnel throughout the business premises, maintaining strict security protocols for both ingress and egress
• Ensure the security integrity of assets, perimeters, and infrastructure, while conducting thorough screenings of individuals and baggage across all Perth Mint sites
• Liaise with management on security matters, providing comprehensive reports on incidents, faults, and operational activities, while serving as an emergency contact point for all departments
• Assist in the development of the security team, perform administrative and concierge duties, and prioritise safety at all times

Experience:

• Certificate II in Security Operations
• Senior First Aid Certificate/Advanced Resuscitation from an accredited institution
• High level of confidentiality and discretion, with the ability to always act in a trustworthy and ethical manner
• Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task
• Ability to work under minimum supervision and as an effective team member
• Sound computer literacy skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills (both verbal and written)
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to use initiative and good judgement
