About the role
The primary purpose of this role is to provide warehouse services that ensure quality supply, storage and distribution of goods in support of Evolution Mungari business activities.
Key result areas in this role include:
- This role is accountable for warehouse inventory availability, customer service, stocktaking, receipting, warehouse data entry, inward and outward handling of goods, rotable items, housekeeping duties, replenishment of satellite stores, and bulk commodity management.
- Ensure accurate data processing of issues, receipts, credits, stocktaking, fuel management and control card issuing
- Completion of required housekeeping duties, daily pre-start checks of equipment and vehicles in the Warehouse area,
- Perform bulk commodity counts to agreed schedules and reconciliations to establish usage and replenishment requirements
- Replenish satellite stores as required through agreed delivery schedules
- Provision of internal onsite logistic services to schedules that meet the business need
- Safe handling and storage of all hazardous materials. Ensure materials arriving on site have appropriate Material Safety Data Sheet accompanying them.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by constantly looking for opportunities to improve work safety, practices and procedures.
- Assist finance with month end and other tasks including accruals, general ledger reconciliations, etc
About our Operation
Our Mungari gold operation is both open pit and underground, located 20km west of Kalgoorlie and 600km east of Perth in Western Australia. Being a residential mine, our employees go home every night, with many living in the local community of Kalgoorlie. Throughout the year there are many cultural and community events to enjoy and for families there are several schools, parks and sporting clubs. About you
As Officer Supply you will be able to demonstrate previous experience in a warehouse environment, preferably on a mine site.
- Knowledge of warehouse database management systems (Pronto)
- Computer literacy and skill using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Exchange)
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills at all levels.
- Effective Communication skills both verbal and written
- Good attendance and safety record
- Ability to think logically to solve problems
- Ability to work safely at all times
