We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Advisor to oversee the effective delivery of ON Core, an annual event presented by the ON Innovation Program that brings together Australia's deep tech innovation ecosystem and provides an experience to connect, celebrate, and uplift both ON's alumni and the community that supports them.
As the ON Core Senior Advisor, you'll engage with senior stakeholders and coordinate high-profile delegates and speakers. You'll coordinate the successful end-to-end event delivery and play a key role in ensuring that a diversity of interests are met across CSIRO internally and for key external stakeholders.
Your experience in end-to-end event management combined with an ability to build relationships with a range of senior stakeholders will be key to your success in this role. Contribute to the delivery of a high impact and high-profile event for CSIRO, apply now.
Your duties will include:
- Skilfully executing engagement strategies to maximise ON Core attendance across key stakeholder groups from across the innovation ecosystem.
- Coordinating and managing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, as well as vendors, guest speakers, high-profile attendees, and facilitators.
- Keeping a high quality and current record of all partner and stakeholder engagements via CRM and maintaining strong connections post-event.
- Assisting with end-to-end event management and coordination of third party suppliers including budgeting, creative conception and design, logistics (venue, catering, AV, run sheets), communications, registrations, bump-in and bump-out.
- Negotiating with clients to establish service deliverables and obtain and act on feedback from client.
- Supporting post-event evaluation and delivery against event success measures, working towards an engaged and vibrant community.

Salary: AU$105k - AU$114k pa plus up to 15.4% superannuation

To be considered you will need:
- At least 5 years' experience in end-to-end event management across a variety of corporate events from roundtables through to major events.
- End-to-end experience managing face to face, hybrid, and virtual events.
- Demonstrated ability to create, develop and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
- Ability to persuade others and build strong interpersonal networks.
- Strong communication and attention to detail.
- Strong creative acumen and a desire for continuous improvement.
- High level of computer literacy, in particular use of Microsoft Office products
- Demonstrated organisation and problem-solving skills, with an ability to manage several different projects concurrently.
Eligibility
