Group Exercise Therapy is a Melbourne based company that started out in the corporate world training employees through office bootcamps. During the Melbourne lockdowns the company moved online to now focus on bringing live Group Fitness classes to the loungerooms of busy women all over the country. Our managing Director is an ex Nike Sponsored Les Mills Master Trainer in the BodyCombat & Bodypump programs.
Qualifications & experience
- A strong background in Les Mills class delivery. Bodypump essential.
- Multiple Les Mills program qualifications would be looked upon favourably but not essential.
- Given our demographic is stay at home mums, a female instructor 40+ would be looked upon favourably but not essential.
- A strong personality that loves to be apart of a team and genuinely loves teaching group exercise.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Teach 3 x 30min online lunchtime classes per week (12:15pm-12:45pm) and once per month teach a 40min Saturday class (8:15am-8:45am).
- Check in with class participants through our messaging software each week to maximise class attendance.
- Liaise with our managing director to implement seasonal timetable changes and fun class ideas / challenges.
- Be involved in our private facebook group with technique videos and client nurture initiatives.
- Assist with the onboarding of new clients and be available to take 10 minute meet and greet technique sessions before the main lunchtime class begins.
