Onsite Building Coordinator

OUR CLIENT:
Based in Melbourne's South East, our client is focussed on creating and building communities for homeowners seeking to downsize without compromise.

Due to ongoing success, our client is seeking an experienced Building coordinator to join their onsite team. 

THE ROLE:You will be responsible for managing customer files from construction commencement to completion, whilst delivering high level customer service.

Reporting to management your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Proactively managing customer expectations by ensuring clients are regularly updated of the status of their home during the building process.
• Maintain customer files with relevant contract, variations and other required documentation
• Manage onsite work communications for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide updates and be the main point of contact for the customer
• Assist customers with minor level customisation & plan reviews. 

IDEAL CANDIDATE:
To be successful in the role, you will have had previous residential experience in a similar role and have a passion for customer service. The ideal candidate will have:

• At least 2 years experience in a similar role 
• Experience in a customer focussed role with conflict and problem management focus
• Highly organised – ability to multi-task and deal with a variety of activities
• Working knowledge of the building and construction process
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven ability to work in a positive and professional manner in a goal orientated environment;
