Essential Criteria:
- Must have or be actively working towards Cert III/Diploma in Children's Services or Out of Hours School Care, Education Support, Sports and Recreation, Youth work, Bachelor of Teaching or Physical Ed.
- Must have / be willing to complete Child Protection training, first aid, asthma and anaphylaxis.
- Must have a valid Working with children's check or willing to obtain one.
- Police Check (issued within the last 6 months)
The successful applicants must have:
- High energy and a passion for fun!
- Be confident, friendly and approachable while working closely with other educators, children, families and school communities.
- Eye for detail to ensure appropriate supervision & safety of children
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure & problem solve quickly
- Drivers Licence
Responsibilities will include:
- Work as a team member, ability to lead and take responsibility when needed
- Building rapport with children, parents/carers and the school community
- Ensuring all policies and procedures are adhered to and managed effectively
- Complete administration tasks as required
- Observe and help maintain a safe environment
- Assist in planning a fun and engaging program with children
- Preparing and serving breakfast and afternoon tea
Hours of operation are:
- Monday to Friday: 6.30am - 9.00am & 3.00pm - 6.30pm
- Various shifts during school holidays between the hours of 6.30am - 6.30pm
