The OpportunityMake effective use of your experience in transport, logistics, industry legislation and safety practices and join our team as an Operations Supervisor.
As an Operations Supervisor, you will be joining an established team to assist in the overseeing of the daily operations and the continual improvement of work planning and execution.
You will be responsible for the efficient management of our waste collection vehicles, supervision of staff, and contractual obligations that relate to waste collection operations.
Your strong leadership and effective decision-making capabilities will be essential in driving improvement and ensuring delivery of our vision in operational excellence.
Requirements- Demonstrated experience working within an Operations Supervisor / Team Leader / Works Coordinator role;
- Commitment and compliance to Chain of Responsibility legislation and relevant safe work policies and procedures, and assist in continual promotion and delivery of safe work practices;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively maintain positive working relationships with drivers/operators, internal/external clients, and the management team;
- Computer literacy, including proficient use of Microsoft Suite - Word, Excel, and Outlook, and the ability to learn additional work management software;
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to effectively plan, prioritise, and manage workloads to meet deadlines under pressure;
- HR drivers’ licence, and Certificate III in Waste Management/ Transport Logistics, with previous experience in waste or transport industry will be highly regarded, but not essential.
