Job Opportunity:
The Operational Lead will report to the Yura Yarta Director and will oversee the daily operations of Yura Yarta in Western Australia. This role requires a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for driving operational efficiency. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing teams, implementing process improvements, and ensuring that operations align with the company's strategic goals.
You will be there to support and mentor our Western Australian team and developed the relationship within the Pilbara mining sector that will lead to growth opportunities for Yura Yarta.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Engagement;
- Operational Management;
- Team Leaderships;
- Resource Allocation;
- Mentoring;
- Promoting of Yura Yarta to internal and external stakeholders; and
- Support operational teams deliver scope with Yura Yarta.
The successful applicant will have:
- Trade License desirable operating in the Mining or similar industry;
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in a supervisor or similar role;
- Willing to learn contract, financial and commercial management information;
- Willing to learn management software systems;
- Great leadership and team development skills;
- Great communication and interpersonal skills;
- Exemplary behaviour with regards to safety leadership; and
- Demonstrated commitment to Company Values.
