Form of workThe Operational Officer will provide efficient and effective linen service duties, including production and distribution of linen to Group Linen Service clients, achieving efficiency whilst maintaining a safe work environment and delivering a balanced workflow that will meet our customer requirements.
What we are looking for:
- This is a manual handling position requiring you to:
- repetitive manual handling of laundry items
- feeding linen into machines
- handling linen items
- sorting soiled linen.
- Some workstations require the use of specialised PPE
- Demonstrated ability to effectively use automated machinery and some computerised equipment
- Ability to develop collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders and team members and ability to effectively communicate and influence staff.
