Casual Operational Officer

Operational Services are looking for a Casual Operational Support Officer to join their team. Working out of the QEII Hospital, Coopers Plains; this role will be responsible for assisting in the provision of a quality health service to patients and the public by performing a range of routine operational service functions including cleaning porterage and patient handling.

About the Role

• Perform all duties required to deliver a quality service to patients and the public by Operational Services including but not exclusively all aspects of cleaning, patient handling, porterage, Linen Services and Waste Management.
• Participate in and ensure that all your mandatory training is current such as: Fire/First Response, Code of Conduct and Patient Handling / Manual Handling procedures.
• Ensure patients and other staff are treated fairly and with mutual respect and understanding, regardless of cultural, religious, ethnic and linguistic backgrounds, gender, identity, ages or abilities. Follow defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
