Operational Services Officer - Food Services

Food Services located at Townsville University Hospital are seeking a client focused Operational Services Officer for a permanent part-time vacancy, working 44 hours per fortnight.The position is responsible for meal production, service and delivery of the Townsville University Hospital kitchen and to ensure the safe delivery, evidence based, best practice food and nutritional service to all inpatients across the Townsville Hospital campus.Townsville University Hospital, located adjacent to one of Queensland’s leading tertiary institutions, James Cook University, is the largest tertiary hospital in northern Australia, providing specialist referral services for 700,000 people living from Mackay, to the Torres Strait, to the Northern Territory border.Job details Position status Permanent

• Salary rates between $30.33 - $32.70 p.h. (OO2)

• While no formal qualifications are required, basic food hygiene knowledge and completion of or the willingness to undertake training in Certificate II in Health Care would be highly desirable.

• The position is subject to flexible roster arrangements that may include a periodic requirement for work on weekends and evenings.
