Queensland Rail is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual for the position of Operational Technology (OT) Systems and Planning Manager. You will play a vital role in the strategic direction and asset management planning for our broad range of Operational Technology Systems within Queensland Rail.

- Manage the development of asset and investment strategies for OT systems and infrastructure that provide optimal outcomes for the organisation.
- Provide strategic direction on our OT Systems which include: ETCS, Signalling, Telecommunications, Control Systems, Traction Power, SCADA/Condition Monitoring systems.
- Work on OT asset plans to achieve business targets, budgets, objectives, performance measures, safety responsibilities and continually seek to implement business performance improvement initiatives.
- Manage the cyber security investment requirements for OT Systems, whilst working together with ICT to ensure Queensland Rail cyber security objectives are achieved.
- Build and maintain strategic and working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent understanding of OT assets technologies, asset management planning and strategies within rail or similar operational environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge in incorporating cybersecurity measures and best practices into Operational Technology Systems.
- Excellent skills in full Project Management lifecycles and strategic planning of projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices, particularly as they relate to Operational Technology Systems.
- Strong stakeholder collaboration skills in working with cross-functional teams to identify and address system performance issues, ensuring the effective and efficient operation of the Technology Systems.
- Bachelor Engineering - Electrical (Professional engineering qualifications must be recognised under the Washington Accord or demonstrated by 'an entry to practice competently' having been awarded to you by Engineers Australia).
- Current National C Drivers Licence.
