We are responsible for both managing and operating the mine.Services provided include planning, drilling, overburden removal, coal mining, coal processing, rehabilitation, and maintenance of mobile and fixed plant. The project uses a combination of dragline and truck-and shovel operations. Meandu Mine currently has five working pits, with sufficient coal to fuel the stations until at least 2037.Job description:We are now seeking an Operational Technology Support Coordinator to join our Maintenance Technology team, reporting to the Electrical Superintendent / EEM on a 9 day fortnight roster. You will be responsible for ensuring site operational needs are met, and for developing strategies and ongoing maintenance plans for the Electrical team.Key Responsibilities: Provide input to work plans to meet operational requirements for site Ensure appropriate resources, tooling and materials are available for planned tasks Liaise with the Electrical Engineering Planner to develop a weekly plan for the Electrical team Supervise sub-contractor works as identified in the Electrical budget Provide an interface between site and respective equipment OEMs Identify any potential cost overruns in planned work against the budget Review and approval of Operational Technology work orders for release and plan to execution Review of overall maintenance strategy plan to ensure equipment availability and reliability Weekly reviews of work order backlogs Implementation and update of Operational Technology strategy tasks in the CMS Assist in development of the annual budget and cost reforecasts Provide ongoing support for the site's Electrical team in the use of the Operational Technology Systems Promote a collaborative work environment with other teams across site Profile description:About You: Licensed Electrical Tradesperson - desirable Cert III in Communications or related field RIIWHS301 Safety and Health Investigations, RIICOM301 Communicate Information and RIIRIS301 Apply Risk Management Processes (S123) RIIPRM501 Implement, monitor, rectify and report on contracts - desirable Minimum 5 years' recent industry experience (post-trade) in the operation, maintenance and repairs of Operational Technology Systems Relevant industry experience in a coordinator / planner role Previous experience in mining or another heavy industry with similar risk profile is desirable Experience in Computerised Maintenance Systems Ability to work with site teams and varied stakeholders Demonstrated knowledge of relevant State and Commonwealth legislation Advanced level of computer literacy and the ability to analyse data Knowledge, experience or training in Risk Management Knowledge of mining industry regulations and legislation relating to Health and Safety would be well regarded To be considered for this opportunity please click "Apply Now" to submit your application!All final applicants for this position will be asked to consent to a police check.
