About the role
We are seeking to employ a full-time Operational Worker to join our growing Civil Works Team!
As an Operational Worker, reporting to the Civil Works Team Leader, you will join an enthusiastic and skilled team. You will commence work at the Fletcher Street Depot and work collaboratively to undertake various civil maintenance duties including asphalting, concreting and paving throughout the Woollahra Municipality.
Essential Criteria
- Current MR Driver’s Licence.
- Workcover WH&S General Induction for Construction Work in NSW (Whitecard).
- Demonstrated skills and experience in a range of civil maintenance duties (e.g. concreting, paving, asphalting etc.)
- Proven ability to carry out work in accordance with established policies and procedures, as directed to the required standards in a safe and efficient manner.
- Understanding of and commitment to WHS and EEO principles and relevant legislation.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with the public in high profile areas.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Commitment to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Capable of working within in the physical requirements in Section 7 of the Position Description
Desirable Criteria
- Currently hold a TfNSW Traffic Controller Licence or willing to obtain.
