Beacon Foundation’s (“Beacon”) mission is to support young people to have the aspiration, motivation and ability to determine their working future.  We do this by bringing together business, industry, schools and the wider community to build real-life education experiences (generally in the form of programs) across Australia and online. These experiences involve students connecting directly with industry to prepare them for the world of work.

As the Operations Administrator, based in Hobart, you will play a pivotal role in our mission. We are seeking a highly motivated, passionate, and adaptive individual to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be providing administrative support of Beacon’s operations nationally and for ensuring that all processes and systems efficiently and accurately capture and manage operational data.

  • Providing administrative support for program delivery 
  • Volunteer management 
  • Data management 
  • General administrative support 

About you:

  • You are committed to effecting real change and making a positive difference in the lives of young Australians 
  • You demonstrate commitment to and understanding of Beacon’s Vision, Mission and Values
  • You will have experience in developing streamlined administrative processes to ensure efficiency and productivity across all departments.
  • You have the ability to build and maintain highly collaborative and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • You have good judgement in relation to problem solving, time management and prioritisation to ensure objectives are achieved
  • You have a satisfactory National Police Check and Working with Vulnerable People Check

Part Time (0.8 FTE) will be considered for the right applicant.
