Your role
A unique opportunity to join our Marketing & Sales team as an Air Operations Subject Matter Expert, where you will be Saab’s natural representative towards new and existing customers worldwide.
The role has a multidimensional essence and includes a wide area of internal and external stakeholders. You will have an active part in multiple tasks throughout the sales organization externally. Examples; operational analysis and CONOPS assessments and development, production of marketing context and messages, organizing and participating at events representing Saab and our products in several contexts worldwide.
Internally, you will act as a trusted advisor - working closely together with several Business Units, Departments and other Business Areas at Saab - across engineering organizations, to various campaign teams and senior corporate leadership levels.
In essence, you will hold a crucial role making difference delivering operational effect for our Air Domain portfolio. You will be a natural resource in our Winning Business process, from business development to product offers, negotiations and signing of contracts.
Your profile
To be successful in this role we believe that you are a team player, with ability to combine your operational expertise with strategic thinking. You must enjoy working with business development in complex environments, have pragmatic views and the ability to remain focused under intense periods. We also think that you have:
- Good knowledge of AEW systems capabilities
- Understanding of Air Domain operations and interfaces towards NATO and other relevant organizations worldwide where Saab have footprint
- Analytical ability and skills, keeping track of current and future threats and technology and how they affect future operational requirements
- Very good language skills in Swedish and English is required, you should be a good and natural communicator
- Tactical and operational background from Armed Forces, including experience from staff and defence operations planning is a merit
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance, additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
