Primary Details Time Type: Full timeWorker Type: EmployeePermanent, full-time roleLocation Melbourne (preferred) or SydneyThe opportunitySupport to the Casualty, Specialty & Agency Leadership Team to deliver strategic initiatives, driving compliance activities, operational reporting, and management support.Your new rolePartner with the relevant leadership team members to co-ordinate and drive compliance activities to ensure processes and procedures to meet and where applicable exceed our obligations.Linking and ensuring consistency of compliance activities across Casualty, Specialty, and Agency Claims and provide operational support to the Casualty, Specialty and Agency teamsBusiness reportingProvide analysis and insight to inform the leadership team in the development of strategic initiatives to address business challenges/opportunitiesAssist with the development and recommendations of compliance policies and processes which are adequate to meet Claims compliance and policy obligationsDevelop and implement a program to ensure that the department's Claims staff and stakeholders comply with compliance policy and processes, taking ownership and leadership to successfully implement change in compliance related mattersLet's talk flexible working!About youCompliance and/or risk management experience (preferably within insurance)Strong knowledge of key compliance risk concepts and risk management frameworksStrong influencing and negotiation skillsProject management capabilitiesSomeone who can get things done but is also a thinker - not afraid to challenge the status quo and propose better and smarter ways to do things.About QBEWe can never really predict what’s around the corner, but at QBE we’re asking the right questions to enable a more resilient future – helping those around us build strength and embrace change to their advantage.We’re an international insurer that’s building momentum towards realising our vision of becoming the most consistent and innovative risk partner.And our people will be at the centre of our success.
