Pest Management Supervisor

Proudly owned by Australian FarmersMcLean Farms is a diversified family-owned agri-business based in Pittsworth, 30 minutes Southwest of Toowoomba. Specialising in livestock and food production, the business is involved with a broad range of agricultural enterprises such as grain, compost and feed mill operations. We are currently seeking a hands-on Pest Management Supervisor to join the team in a full-time capacity across our various poultry farms.Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Develop comprehensive Pest Management plans tailored to the specific needs of each poultry site in conjunction with the Poultry Technical Manager.
• Liaise with site managers to standardise processes.
• Stay abreast of local, state, and federal regulations related to pest control and ensure compliance with all relevant standards and requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of pest control activities, including pesticide applications, inspections, Safety data sheets (SDS) records, and treatment reports.
• Implement quality assurance measures to ensure the effectiveness of Pest Management strategies and procedures in conjunction with McLean Farms Quality Assurance team.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess the success of pest control efforts and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide leadership and guidance to a team of pest attendants.
• Assign tasks, schedule work assignments, and monitor performance to ensure efficiency and effectiveness across all poultry sites.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with poultry site managers through professionalism, responsiveness, and exceptional service delivery.

To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and attributes:

• Certification in pest control management is highly desirable.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in Pest Management, with a strong understanding of pest control methods.
• Previous supervisory or managerial experience preferred, with demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members from different McLean Farms departments.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using pest control equipment and tools, as well as computer software for recordkeeping and reporting.
