Veolia ANZ has a fantastic opportunity for an Operations and Maintenance Supervisor to join our team based in Kurnell, 2231. As the Operations and Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing leadership and support to the maintenance and operations team at the Sydney Desalination Plant.

- Lead the operations, maintenance teams and the permit to work process to optimise resources and achieve effective and efficient running of the plant
- Developing and driving standard operating procedures and Maintenance plans.
- Effectively manage operations & maintenance resources to provide continuous shift and day work tasks and duties coverage.
- Coordinating the safe planning and execution of preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance activities in an appropriate and efficient manner
- Coaching and developing team members by setting clear expectations, monitoring performance and mentoring others.
- Developing a safety first and continuous improvement culture.
- Driving improvements and efficiencies to ensure optimisation of works.
- Operational leadership with clients, crew and subcontractors.
- Participating in a safety first and continuous improvement culture.
- Trade Qualifications in Electrical or Mechanical Trades
- Experience in water treatment operations is desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge and understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment & fault finding techniques with this equipment
- Experience in High Voltage is desirable
