We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our team of professionals:
As a QA Supervisor, your primary objective is to conduct and complete warranty inspections for each project after handover and coordinate necessary rectification work with the appropriate trades. You will ensure consistent compliance with building codes and company standards to maintain exceptional customer service and uphold the company's reputation for excellence in quality.
This full-time position will be based at various locations across Sydney from the Macarthur region including Tahmoor, Camden and Campbelltown, to the north-west including Box Hill, Kellyville and the Gables as well as the inner west in areas such as Concord, Ryde, Burwood and more.
The Key responsibilities of this position include:
- Conducting a 13 week maintenance inspection for each project.
- Executing all allocated tasks in the workflow system daily, including posting updates.
- Coordinating rectification works with the relevant trades.
- Provide weekly updates to clients regarding progress of works.
- Undertake physical work where required to repair minor rectification items.
- Complete maintenance work on Display Homes as directed by the Construction Manager.
- Liaise and coordinate various appointments with the Quality Assurance Coordinator, clients, trades, suppliers and relevant authorities as required.
Qualifications Required
- Trade Certificate in Carpentry and Joinery, or equivalent.
- WorkCover Site Induction Card (White Card).
- First Aid Certificate.
- Class C NSW Driver’s License.
Experience/Skill Level Required
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role within standard contract home construction, or equivalent.
- Intermediate computer skills with packages including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and databases.
- Thorough understanding and knowledge of the Building Code of Australia (BCA) and Australian Standards
- Customer service orientated.
- Committed towards undertaking duties efficiently, using initiative and a strong attention to detail.
- Strong written & verbal communication skills.
