SalaryJob Overview: We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Operations & Production Coordinator to work closely with the Business Manager in planning, implementing, and overseeing all activities essential for the efficient functioning of our nursery. This hands-on role involves a range of responsibilities, including reporting, production planning, team management, and ensuring a safe and productive workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide regular updates and reports to the Business Manager on operational activities.
- Assist in developing and implementing the production plan for various crops.
- Oversee the production processes, ensuring alignment with the production plan.
- Provide leadership and support to the production team
- Ensure a safe working environment
- Undertake hands-on tasks, including stock movement, supervising transplant teams, and applying crop treatments.
- Manage plant propagation, demonstrating a solid understanding of mother plant management and vegetative propagation methods.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma in Horticulture or equivalent qualification is critical for this position
- Exceptional organizational skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- An understanding of Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) processes.
- Possession of a NSW forklift license (class LF).
