Boddingtons Hire is an established, locally owned family company specialising in the hire of construction machinery. We supply cranes, forklift trucks, telehandlers and reach stackers across a range of industries to all areas of Australia.

An opportunity presents to join our small but busy team as an Operations Assistant.
The Role
Based in our Port Kennedy depot and employed on a permanent full time basis, your role will be to support our operations staff on a day to day basis. Key responsibilities of the task will include;
- General reception and administration duties.
- Booking of travel and mobilisation requirements for our service personnel.
- Update of maintenance and service logs for our equipment.
- Ordering and receiving goods from suppliers to assist our workshop.
- Dispatch of parts/ consumables for our clients.
- Assist to prepare and maintain inventory records.
- Other ad hoc requirements to assist our Administration team.
About You
You will be a person who enjoys owning their role however understand the importance of assisting others in a small team environment.
Ideally you will have the following attributes;
- Motivated, efficient, and conscientious with great organisiational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
- Proactive and self motivated with excellent attention to detail.
- Good computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office.
- Experience in Reckon/ Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel will be an advantage but not essential. Training will be provided.
