The role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Operations or Events professional to join our team as the Operations Assistant for our Secondary School.
Working in this highly collegial team, you will be responsible for providing operational support for events across the Secondary School paying particular attention to venue booking, room set-up, seating arrangements, speaker/guest requirements and other logistics in order to ensure the production of a high quality event for attendees. Experience working in a school environment will be advantageous but is not essential.
In order to thrive in this position you will require:
Demonstrated experience in administration coupled with intermediate knowlege of a range of programs including the microsoft office suite and systems such as Synergetic.
A strong attention to detail and a high regard for accuracy.
Strong planning and organisational skills.
Exceptional verbal communication in order to support interaction with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
The ability to work collaboratively as part of the wider administration team, supporting others in their role from time to time.
A current working with children check is required.
