The overall responsibility of this position is to ensure security protocols are followed, and administrative assistance and exceptional customer service is provided.

The successful candidate must be able to work in a busy and fast paced environment, possessing both great attention to detail and excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for the duties and responsibilities outlined below.

This is a PM shift, Mon-Fri 1:00pm to 9:00pm

About this Role:

• Full Time - Monday to Friday 
• Clerical duties within our Export department
• To maintain the professional image of UPS at all times
• Processing data into multiple data base program, Customs, AQIS, Cargowise.
• Document auditing and scanning
• Update UPS systems and daily logs
• Data entry, as well as phone management
• Other daily tasks as specified by Operations Management
• Manual handling of packages

Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Forklift license advantageous but not essential
• Experience in Export clerical role preferable but not essential
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organised, with the ability to multi-task multiple projects and/or tasks at a time.
• High attention to detail
• Positive and polite personality as customer service is a part of this role
• Intermediate Computer Skills (incl MS Office applications, Excel)
• Previous experience in the courier industry is an advantage, however all training will be provided.
• Hands on role - some physical lifting of packages required
• Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
