We are seeking an Operations / General Manager who combines strategic vision with operational expertise to lead our team and ensure flawless execution of daily business activities. Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, coach, and inspire team members to consistently exceed performance targets.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to foster individual and team growth.
- Cultivate a positive and collaborative work culture
- Recruit, onboard, and retain top talent to build a high-performing team.
Operational Excellence
- Ensure smooth operations across all functions of daily business activities.
- Oversee efficient and accurate fulfilment of customer orders, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to brand standards.
- Develop and manage employee schedules, optimising staffing levels to meet operational requirements.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting related to operations.
Performance Monitoring & Improvement
- Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess team performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement strategies to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality of all business operations.
- Continuously evaluate and refine processes to maximise efficiency and minimise errors.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and streamline workflows.
- Generate regular reports on team performance, order fulfilment metrics, customer experience, and operational challenges/successes.
- Act as a liaison between teams to ensure smooth operations and alignment with company goals and objectives.
Strategic Input
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute business strategies that drive growth and profitability.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in operations management, ideally within the fashion or consumer goods industry.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performance teams.
- Demonstrated experience in optimising order fulfilment processes and enhancing customer service experiences.
- A strong focus on daily operations
- Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with warehouse software and Google workspace.
- Strong financial acumen and experience with budget management.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and a fast-paced environment.
