Job Summary
Our team of Paraplanners have responsibility for the creation of high quality advice documents for our team of employed and external advisers. The role requires strong technical abilities and an ability to work independently.
You will endeavor to enhance the reputation of the Group by ensuring that Advice documents are completed to a high standard and in line with business requirements. A high level of customer experience is required and the ability to take an organised and responsive approach to workflow is vital.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Paraplanning Team Leader, the responsibilities of the Paraplanner role include but not limited to:
- Excellent time management skill and ability to meet strict deadlines
- Ability to product high quality advice documents with accuracy that meets compliance requirements
- Vigilant research on changes to products, services, legislation, and strategy options
- Collaborating with Advisers and Associate Advisers in the production of advice documents
- Ability to complete strategy analysis such as product cost comparisons, indicative quotes and capital projections

To be successful in this role you will require:
- Strong knowledge of Xplan including Risk Researcher, WealthSolver and CALM
- Sound understanding of a range of technical strategies including SMSF, Insurance, Product Replacement, Gearing and Social Security is highly preferable
- Relevant industry qualification (Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Commerce or Diploma of Financial Planning) will be highly regarded
- Previous paraplanning experience with a minimum of 2 years in similar role
- Sound knowledge of Financial Services & Investment Management Industry
- High attention to detail
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
