About the Role :
As the Operations Lead for the Data, Reporting and AI Platform, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimising the operational aspects of the platform, ensuring it is functioning correctly and supporting the diverse needs of our data, reporting, and AI initiatives. This role requires a seasoned operations professional with a deep understanding of platform management, data processes, reporting systems, and AI workflows.
As the Operations Lead you will :
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Data, Reporting, and AI platform, ensuring security, reliability, scalability, and performance.
Implement and maintain operational procedures to maximize the platform's efficiency and identify opportunities for platform optimisations and improvements.
Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to understand platform requirements and facilitate effective utilisation of the platform's technical capabilities.
Develop monitoring solutions to track system running performance and processes for managing incidents and platform-related issues, working closely with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges promptly.
Enforce security and management procedures to protect the platform and data, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Manage relationships with external vendors, evaluate vendor performance and contracts, and monitor resource usage and adjust allocations.
Support the development of training and education programs to support onboarding users and keep them informed on platform capabilities.
Key Skills and Attributes Required:
Minimum 10 years experience managing and optimising data, reporting and AI platforms
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
Demonstrable experience using analytical platforms to deliver omni-channel customer experiences across digital and contact center channels.
Hands on experience with analytical technologies being used at scale, including depth in one or more of the following areas:
Use of Azure and AWS cloud services
Experience with data engineering processes, data integration, and AI/ML model lifecycle.
In-depth knowledge of data storage and retrieval technologies such as SQLServer, Snowflake and other NoSQL databases
In-depth knowledge of data processing technologies such as AWS Lambda and Azure Functions, Spark, Kafka, Databricks
Experience in modern reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
Experience in modern data governance tools like Collibra or Alation
Experience in managing containerisation and orchestration environments using Docker, Kubernetes
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration management.
