The Position:
Responsible for coordination and management of the bank's operation functions, create long term and trusting relationships with customers, manage quality assurance in daily operational activities, train operation staffs to comply with internal policies and external regulations. Responsibilities and duties of Operation Manager including, but not limit to:
Responsible for reviewing and releasing daily transactions.
Coach and lead the operation team, ensuring to deliver high quality of performance in daily operation transactions and regulatory reporting.
Design, develop and review procedures and manuals and implant changes as needed.
Ability to cooperate with other departments to achieve business goals and develop new business opportunities.
Ability to promptly resolve problems or discrepancies in different scenarios.
Demonstrate strong customer focus and ability in maintaining good customer relationships.
Collaborate with Head Office on new system setup and testing.
Requirement:
Tertiary qualification in finance or other relevant discipline.
At least 5 years of banking experience in operation department managing a minimum team of 5.
Understanding of account opening, KYC, treasury settlement, bilateral and syndication loan drawdown.
Knowledge of interbank payments, including local clearing payment and international remittance.
Experience of using systems such as SWIFT, Austraclear and RITS.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Being proactive and ability to solve the problems in a timely manner.
Have strong customer service skills.
Able to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.Proficient in English and Chinese (Written, Reading and Speaking) is required.
