We are a three-level venue immersed in the heart of Newtown. We have a vast offering which includes an Industrial Steampunk Bar, a Prohibition Style Whisky Bar and an open-air Rooftop Terrace. We are one of the busiest bars in the Inner West and we pride ourselves on having a friendly team, a fun working environment, and constantly strive to exceed our guests expectations.
Job Overview:
Duties include but are not limited too;
- Supporting the General Manager with all venue operations
- Supervising and training the crew to ensure your team are performing their roles at an exceptional level
- Be present and hands on in all areas of the venue alongside your team (run the service, serve and interact with our guests)
- Motivate and encourage your team whilst creating a positive working environment and culture

So, what do you need to be an Operations Manager at Websters Bar?
- Ideally 1-2 or more years of leadership experience within a high volume environment
- People & Leadership skills – your team is your biggest asset!
- Ability to thrive within a high volume, high turnover establishment
- Advanced communication skills with a positive attitude
- Career driven & ambitious with the drive to grow with the business
- Basic knowledge of P&L management (COGS, Labour etc)
- Experience in Gaming, F&B, HR, compliance, IT and Marketing
- Ability to work a rotating roster with the management team to ensure equitable distribution of shifts across a 7-day week.
