As they continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Manager to join the team to lead the production operations based in Kurri Kurri, NSW.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Plant Manager to lead the production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the manufacturing process, ensuring the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the manufacturing process, including production scheduling, quality control, and inventory management.
- Develop and implement production plans and strategies to meet company goals and objectives.
- Optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize costs.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Manage and develop a team of production supervisors and operators.
- Collaborate with other departments, including engineering, maintenance, and logistics, to ensure smooth production operations.
- Analyse production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Proven experience in plant management or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and techniques.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with AI systems and their application in manufacturing is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and other relevant software applications.
